First, when applying true stone paint, it is important to understand its construction conditions: the temperature must be above 5 degrees Celsius, relative humidity must be below 85%, and construction cannot be done on rainy days. The base layer for construction must be free of grease, dust, and loose materials, and the pH value of the wall must be <10, with moisture content <10%. Whether on rainy days or on damp walls after rain, mold spots are likely to appear, which can affect the application of true stone paint.
How should one deal with mold spots on the construction wall?
1. Small areas of mold spots on the wall.

When small areas of mold spots appear on the wall, a toothbrush can be used to brush away the mold stains, and then a soft cloth dipped in alcohol can be gently wiped on the wall. This can help the wall dry quickly and prevent the growth of mold spots.
2. Use bleach to spray the wall.
Mix bleach in a 1:99 ratio and pour it into a spray bottle, then spray it on the wall where mold stains have developed to immediately solve the mold problem. Wipe the wall with a cloth and then rinse with clean water. After the wall dries, immediately apply a mold inhibitor, which can provide long-lasting moisture protection.
3. Use alcohol to wash the wall.
In cases where small areas of mold stains appear, use 80% alcohol to wash the wall. During cleaning, ensure good ventilation and wear protective gloves, a mask, and goggles. After cleaning, wait for the wall to dry completely to eliminate the causes of mold, which can effectively prevent the wall from becoming moldy again.
4. If there is a large area of mold on the wall, extensive treatment of the wall is required, including reapplying waterproof coatings and outer coatings.
