To promote the early realization of the dual carbon goals, the development of integrated building insulation structures in Zhengzhou is being accelerated. On the afternoon of December 22, under sunny weather, a site observation meeting for integrated building insulation structures was successfully held at the construction site of the third section of the He Dong shantytown in Zhengzhou Airport Port, organized by the Zhengzhou Urban and Rural Construction Bureau and hosted by Henan Dejiali Technology Group Co., Ltd., with the support of China State Construction Engineering Corporation Second Bureau and China State Construction Engineering Corporation Seventh Bureau.

To promote the early realization of the dual carbon goals, accelerate the development of integrated building insulation structures in Zhengzhou. On the afternoon of December 22, under sunny weather, the on-site observation meeting for integrated building insulation structures was successfully held at the construction site of the third section of the He Dong shantytown in Zhengzhou Airport by China State Construction Engineering Corporation Second Bureau. This observation meeting was hosted by the Zhengzhou Urban and Rural Construction Bureau and organized by Henan DeJiaLi Technology Group Co., Ltd., with the assistance of China State Construction Engineering Corporation Second Bureau and China Construction Seventh Engineering Bureau.

The observation meeting was presided over by Wang Chunxi, director of the Building Energy Efficiency and Prefabricated Building Development Center of the Zhengzhou Urban and Rural Construction Bureau. More than 100 leaders from the housing and urban-rural development systems of various counties and districts in Zhengzhou, as well as leaders from design institutes, medium and large construction enterprises, real estate development companies, testing units, prefabricated bases, and wall material companies participated in this observation meeting.

First, Director Wang gave a speech, stating: "Currently, traditional external wall insulation materials such as rock wool still occupy a large market share. Although they meet fire safety requirements, they have shortcomings and hidden dangers in terms of energy-saving insulation safety performance, which can easily lead to external wall cracking, short service life, and even falling off, causing safety accidents. Additionally, some manufacturing enterprises have low entry barriers and varying quality. The integrated building insulation structure technology not only addresses the issues of traditional external wall insulation but also has advantages such as factory production, lower overall cost, significant energy-saving insulation effects, quick and convenient construction, and the same lifespan as the building. In recent years, the province and city have done a lot of work in integrated insulation structures, and the integration of insulation has been applied to varying degrees in projects, showing significant effects. However, due to factors such as higher costs compared to ordinary insulation systems, the promotion and popularization have been limited."

"One of the four key elements to achieve carbon neutrality is technological feasibility (vigorously developing replicable and promotable low-carbon technologies is the fundamental way to achieve carbon neutrality). In the field of construction, integrated insulation aligns with the concept of technological feasibility. Zhengzhou should increase the promotion of the widespread application of integrated building insulation structures in construction."

Finally, on behalf of Deputy Director Qu Biao of the Urban and Rural Construction Bureau, Director Wang emphasized three points:

First, the construction bureaus of various counties and relevant units should view this integrated insulation promotion site meeting from the perspective of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.

They should listen carefully to the experts' explanations, participate in visits and exchanges, understand the technical requirements of integrated insulation, and become experts in promotion work.

Second, after returning, the construction bureaus of various counties should report the importance of integrated insulation to their main leaders and the heads of various enterprises, study and formulate specific promotion plans and methods, and, if necessary, ensure good pilot demonstrations.

Third, the city should formulate corresponding promotion and supervision measures and methods to accelerate the application of integrated insulation, further enhancing the external wall insulation level in Zhengzhou.

Next, Duan Jiangsheng, Chief Engineer of DeJiaLi Company, representing DeJiaLi Group, first introduced the current development background and situation of integrated insulation structures, as well as some advanced promotion experiences from other provinces and cities. He then introduced the characteristics of the NBW cast-in-place concrete insulation system and its advantages and application scenarios compared to similar products, which has now been applied to over 6 million square meters of external wall area in Henan and other places.

Nationally renowned energy-saving expert and former Executive Vice President of Henan Architectural Science Research Institute, Luan Jingyang, introduced the current energy-saving forms in the construction industry, stating that developing integrated building insulation structures is imperative. During the development process, some systems in the market have encountered numerous problems. Through practical verification, DeJiaLi's unique three-layer mesh direct-insert technology of the NBW cast-in-place concrete insulation system is currently a relatively complete technology that is worth promoting.

Finally, Li Yangguang, Project Chief Engineer of China State Construction Engineering Corporation Second Bureau, spoke on behalf of the user units, briefly describing the entire process of the NBW cast-in-place concrete insulation system in actual construction, summarizing the advantages of the NBW insulation system compared to traditional insulation, which not only saves the entire construction period but also greatly shortens the time for high-risk construction such as hanging baskets and scaffolding in the later stages. This significantly reduces major safety risks during construction and also lowers construction costs.

After the meeting, all participants were divided into two groups, led by staff, to visit the engineering practice base and the NBW cast-in-place concrete insulation system model, further understanding the technical characteristics of integrated building insulation structures by comparing with engineering examples.

It is believed that this observation meeting will greatly promote the rapid development of integrated insulation structures in Zhengzhou and even Henan, improve the quality of people's living conditions, and help achieve the national dual carbon goals as soon as possible.
