Wall fabric is another form of wallpaper, featuring colorful patterns and stunning colors, but in terms of texture, it surpasses wallpaper. Many businesses have discovered the advantages of wall fabric and found such business opportunities during continuous development. As a new product, the market is relatively broad, and the higher profit is one of the driving forces for businesses.
In the future, wall fabric is expected to replace traditional wallpaper in the mid-to-high-end market, as it outperforms wallpaper in terms of lifespan and ease of maintenance. Traditional wallpaper will be impacted by wall fabric. The profit margin in the wall fabric market is relatively higher than that of wallpaper.
At the wallpaper exhibition, various personalized wallpapers caught people's attention, such as those featuring anime, Chinese paintings, character backgrounds, and pastoral landscapes. These have moved away from the previously popular European damask patterns and palace styles, with more personalized patterns becoming the choice of manufacturers, stimulating consumer demand. This group is willing to accept a mix of European and Chinese styles, and they are also willing to accept bolder colors, such as sky blue and green, or sky blue and purple."
Customized services are also a major feature, with companies accepting personalized customization from clients. For example, the custom services launched by Wall Decoration are divided into four parts: tailored customization based on the size of the client's wall; tailored design; personalized customization, such as turning wedding photos into wallpaper or making children's photos or beloved items into wallpaper; and personalized design, where a unique wallpaper is designed based on the client's ideas.
However, when discussing corporate competition, disorder and weak branding are significant bottlenecks restricting the development of wallpaper. Excellent companies will enhance their capabilities in design, production, and service to build a brand. Of course, companies without a brand or technological innovation will be eliminated.
The vast development space of wallpaper has allowed many companies to grow rapidly. The lively atmosphere of the exhibition and the strong investment promotion made the author feel that the regulation of the real estate market has not had a significant impact on the wallpaper industry. However, in this fast-developing process, many companies are still continuously exploring business opportunities and sensing another broad market in the future—the rural market. With the continuous advancement of new rural construction in China, the potential demand for wallpaper in rural areas is also increasing. It is necessary to actively cultivate the consumption concept and overall development of wallpaper in the rural market.
