In terms of appearance, this wallpaper is no different from ordinary wallpaper, and the so-called "formaldehyde-removing" function is not discernible from the wallpaper itself. According to the store's sales staff, this wallpaper contains bamboo charcoal fibers that can absorb formaldehyde. She pointed to the certification on the cover of the catalog and told the reporter that this is a certification from a certain state-owned unit, proving that their wallpaper is a qualified product that has passed inspection. Besides this, the sales staff did not provide any materials that could prove the wallpaper's formaldehyde-removing function.
It seems that whether this "formaldehyde-removing" wallpaper can actually remove formaldehyde, consumers need to be cautious. Lastly, it is certainly a good thing to raise awareness of home safety, but there is no need to be overly fearful of "formaldehyde". The most important thing is to make rational choices regarding various home building materials and not to blindly trust so-called high-tech or advanced technology.
