Floor Coating Construction Process
The floor paint uses a one-time coating process, which means there are no joints regardless of the area size. It is also a dust-free material with strong adhesion, wear resistance, and high hardness, and it is currently widely used in the country. Epoxy floor paint can be divided into solvent-based and solvent-free types. Solvent-based epoxy floor coatings emit a certain amount of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) during production, construction, and curing processes, but they are relatively low in cost; whereas solvent-free epoxy floor coatings align with environmental protection concepts and do not emit volatile organic compounds. The difference between water-based floor paint and solvent-based floor paint.
Water-based floor paint is an environmentally friendly coating that uses water as a diluent. It features characteristics such as being green, energy-saving, safe, and easy to apply, making it widely used for floor decoration across the country. As a green and healthy pure eco-friendly product, water-based floor paint has lower formaldehyde and lower aromatic hydrocarbons compared to traditional solvent-based floor coatings, making it a new generation of eco-friendly products developed through technology. Precautions for Epoxy Floor Coating Construction
In practical construction, epoxy floor paint can adjust the coarseness of the sand based on the thickness of the mortar layer. The mortar layer can be applied multiple times to form or can be formed in one go. Primer formula for floor coating: used for dry surfaces; resin components: epoxy resin, xylene, n-butanol. Hardener: polyamide, xylene, n-butanol. For wet surfaces; hardener components: alicyclic amine, ratio, resin components, hardener components. Some manufacturers also directly use polyurethane prepolymers diluted with solvents to create moisture-curing sealing primers for epoxy floor paint, which is used on dry substrates, yielding excellent results.
