Introduction
Made from imported high-weather-resistant acrylic resin as the main base material, combined with titanium white and other pigment fillers, additives, and solvents. This product is packaged in A and B two-component sets.
Product Features
This product has a tough film, good adhesion, high hardness, and good sanding properties. It can improve the filling properties of the primer and the adhesion between the primer and the topcoat. It is mainly used for mid-coating on automobiles, trains, bridges, building exteriors, steel structures, etc.
It can be used on cathodic electrophoretic primers, amine-cured epoxy primers, and unsaturated polyester putties, and is suitable for coating materials such as properly treated steel, aluminum alloys, ABS plastics, wood, and ceramics, enhancing the fullness and decorative effect of the topcoat.
Physical Parameters
Solid Content: ≥50%
Density: (1.10-1.35) grams per milliliter.
Fineness: (Component A) ≤30 microns.
Drying Time: Surface dry in 30 minutes, touch dry in 24 hours, fully cured in 7 days, at a temperature of (23±2) °C.
Theoretical Coverage Rate: (8-10) square meters per kilogram (dry film thickness 30 microns).
Mixing Ratio: Component A: Component B = 1:0.005 (by weight).
Usable Period: Use within 8 hours after mixing. Temperature (23±2) °C.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, with a shelf life of one year for Component A and six months for Component B.
Packaging: 24 kilograms per set.
Application Instructions
1. Ensure the surface of the object to be coated is free of oil, dust, dry, and protected from other paint mist contamination.
2. After the primer is fully dry, it must be sanded clean before spraying this paint. The coating is mixed in the ratio of Component A: Component B = 1:0.005, and must be thoroughly stirred before use. Weighing must be accurate, otherwise it will affect the coating performance.
3. Use the matching special thinner D-X-2.
4. Mix Component A: Component B = 23:1 (by weight) until uniform. Then, under stirring, gradually dilute with thinner to the application viscosity, generally 18-25 seconds (using a 4-cup viscosity measurement). After dilution, let it sit for 20-30 minutes to fully mature, and once bubbles disappear, it can be applied. Filter with a 200 mesh copper wire screen before application.
5. This coating can be brushed or sprayed. The viscosity for brushing is slightly higher, while for spraying, it depends on the type of spray gun, the area to be coated, and the viscosity of the paint, with spraying pressure between 3.5 to 6.0 atmospheres.
6. The usable period after mixing this coating is 6-8 hours; prepare as needed to avoid waste.
7. After spraying the first coat, wait 8-10 minutes before spraying the second coat, which can be slightly lower in viscosity than the first.
Safety and Environmental Instructions
Avoid contact with skin and eyes; if contact occurs, rinse with water. The site must be well-ventilated. The paint contains flammable components; keep away from sparks and smoking is prohibited in nearby areas. Follow all health and safety regulations on site.
