Buildings decorated with real stone paint have a natural and authentic color, giving a sense of elegance, harmony, and solemn beauty. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor decoration of various buildings, especially for curved structures, where it can achieve a vivid and realistic effect, returning to nature. Natural real stone paint has characteristics such as fire resistance, water resistance, acid and alkali resistance, pollution resistance, non-toxic, odorless, strong adhesion, and never fading, effectively preventing external harsh environments from eroding buildings and extending their lifespan. Due to its good adhesion and freeze-thaw resistance, natural real stone paint is particularly suitable for use in cold regions. It is easy to apply, dries quickly, and is convenient for construction.

Product Description

Construction Methods and Steps

1. Requirements for the base surface

① The cement mortar should be troweled to a smooth finish and cured for more than 15 days. The surface must be flat but not too smooth, and the corners should not be too sharp.

② Before construction, the cement surface or the surface to be painted must be free of moss, grease, or other contaminants. If present, they must be completely removed; otherwise, it will affect adhesion, and the surface must be kept sufficiently dry.

③ If the surface has old paint, it must be tested or confirmed to be adhesive before construction; otherwise, it must be removed.

2. Apply anti-alkali sealing primer

The surface to be painted should be evenly coated with primer and sealed to prevent discoloration and moisture from contaminating the paint surface. The amount of primer used must be above 0.15Kg/㎡ for each coat until there is no discoloration.

3. Marking lines

Use a straightedge or marking line to draw straight line marks with a black line.

4. Apply tape for lines

The tape must first be applied to the straight lines, then to the cross lines. For joints, nails can be used to prevent losing the tape source after spraying.

5. Spray natural real stone paint

Start spraying the real stone paint with a thickness of 2-3mm and an air pressure between 0.6-0.8MPa. During spraying, non-sprayed areas should be covered with newspapers or completely isolated with tape.

After spraying, allow it to harden for twenty-four hours. The sprayed surface must match the appearance of the sample, with a usage of approximately 3.5-4.5Kg/㎡.

6. Remove the tape

Immediately remove the tape after spraying. The tape must be removed carefully to avoid affecting the edges of the coating. The removal method is to pull it upwards as much as possible, not forward.

7. Sanding

Before applying the topcoat, sand down about 30-50% of the sharp particles on the surface of the real stone paint to enhance the stone's aesthetic and reduce sharpness, avoiding dust accumulation.

8. Overall spray topcoat

After the real stone paint has completely hardened for 24 hours, the topcoat can be sprayed overall, requiring more than 0.15Kg per square meter.
