Introduction
Product Composition
A two-component epoxy primer composed of epoxy resin, red iron oxide, anti-rust pigments, fillers, additives, solvents, etc. as component one, and polyamide curing agent as component two.
Product Characteristics
The paint film is tough, wear-resistant, and has strong adhesion, with excellent water resistance and anti-rust properties. It has good surface adhesion to steel treated with sandblasting.
Applicable Range
Suitable for bare steel, galvanized substrates, etc. Used as an anti-rust primer on the surfaces of various transportation vehicles, bodies, compartments, components, petrochemical equipment, storage tanks, pipeline drilling rigs, offshore oil extraction equipment, and various atmospheric steel structures, or sprayed over zinc-rich primers.

Coating Matching
Subsequent matching coatings: epoxy micaceous iron intermediate paint, epoxy topcoat, acrylic polyurethane magnetic paint, acrylic magnetic paint, etc. Surface treatment should wash away salt and other water-soluble contaminants with clean water. Remove grease according to SSPC-SPI| solvent cleaning standards. Remove welding spatter and treat welds and burrs to make them smooth.
Remove rust, oxide skin, etc. by shot blasting or sandblasting to achieve Sa2.5 level (SSPC-SPI0) or treat the surface with electric tools to achieve ISO St3 level. The rusted steel surface should not be touched by hand and should be painted as soon as possible. Use high-pressure air to blow away dust and other contaminants before construction. Confirm that the surface is clean and dry before construction.
